Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) updates timetable for the 2024 general election

The electoral watchdogs have extended the deadline for submission of nomination papers by two days, allowing papers to be submitted by December 24. Following submission, the preliminary list of candidates will be published on the same day, and the candidates will be scrutinized by returning officers from December 25 to December 30. The polling is scheduled to take place on February 08, 2024.
