Under the direction of Caretaker Federal Minister for Health Dr Nadeem Jan, significant progress has been made to ensure the availability of life-saving medicines. The Ministry of Health spokesperson stated that Dr Nadeem Jan had instructed for the registration of medicines on an emergency basis to improve their supply. The Drug Regulatory Authority of Pakistan (DRAP) has approved the registration of various medicines on a priority basis, including anti-cancer drugs and diabetes medications. Additionally, the government is taking steps to ensure an uninterrupted supply of life-saving medicines and is also working on building a pharma park for the local production and promotion of medicines.
