Hollywood director Shawn Levy has spoken about the possibility of pop superstar Taylor Swift making a cameo in his upcoming film, “Deadpool 3,” which will also mark her debut in Marvel’s Cinematic Universe.
Taylor Swift has been making headlines not only for her sold-out Eras concert tour, recently-released documentary film, and her romance with Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce, but also for the speculation that she will make her MCU debut as the sound-powered singer mutant, Dazzler, in “Deadpool 3.”
These rumors gained momentum when viral pictures of Swift with the movie’s stars Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman surfaced after the trio attended Kelce’s NFL game earlier this month.
In a recent interview, Levy, the Emmy and BAFTA-nominated director of the film, addressed these rumors by saying, “No comment because that’s a double whammy. That’s Taylor-related. And it’s MCU-related. I’m no dummy.”
Levy concluded with a cryptic remark, stating that fans will have to wait and see if Swift will appear in “Deadpool 3” or not.
“Deadpool 3,” directed by Shawn Levy, brings together Hollywood A-listers Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman on-screen after 14 years. The film also features Morena Baccarin, Jennifer Garner, and Brianna Hildebrand in supporting roles.
