The lawsuit accusing hip-hop mogul Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs of physical abuse, sexual slavery, and rape has been settled, according to lawyers for his ex-girlfriend Cassandra Ventura. The terms of the settlement were not disclosed. In a joint statement, Ventura said she decided to resolve the matter amicably, and Combs wished her and her family the best. Ventura, who performs as Cassie, filed the lawsuit in federal court, claiming that Combs forced her to engage in sexual acts with male prostitutes while he watched and filmed. She also accused Combs of beating and controlling her throughout their 10-year relationship, alleging that he raped her when she tried to leave. Combs denied the allegations, with his lawyer stating that Ventura filed the lawsuit after attempting to blackmail Combs for $30 million. The pair met when Ventura was 19 and signed a recording deal with Combs’ label, Bad Boy Records.
