Jhang: Acting on the orders of DPO Rashid to arrest the suspects involved in dacoity and who were trying to escape after giving bribes, SHO and in-charge of Rustom Police Station registered a case against them and arrested them. According to the police spokesperson, SHO Waseef Naul and ASI Najam Abbas had kept the suspects in custody at a different location instead of the police station. It has also been reported that the suspects, after giving bribes, were released by the police officers involved in the dacoity, and a charge sheet has been issued against the negligent officers. According to the spokesperson, legal action will be taken, and aiding the suspects in escaping by violating the legal rules and regulations is a serious offense that is punishable.
