The local police reported that a car was speeding and lost control, falling into a gorge on the Southern Bypass in Shikarpur, resulting in the deaths of five people.

The car was traveling from Quetta to Naushehro Feroze. Initial reports indicated that the accident was caused by overspeeding and heavy fog.

Rescue teams have arrived at the scene.

Last month, a tragic accident in Mianwali led to the deaths of seven people, including folk singer Sharafat Ali, after their car fell into a canal.

According to rescue sources, the car, carrying seven people, plunged into a canal near Paka Kanjhera in Mianwali.

Singer Sharafat Ali was returning home from a wedding when the accident occurred.

Upon receiving the information, rescue teams retrieved the bodies and the vehicle from the canal, and the bodies were taken to the District Headquarters (DHQ) Hospital.
