Balochistan’s Information Minister Vows to Take Action Against Militants if Terrorism Continues

Balochistan’s caretaker Minister for Information, Jan Achakzai, expressed concern over militant activity from Afghanistan, stating that if it does not stop, Pakistan will take action against terrorist hideouts. He emphasized that Pakistan has been hosting Afghan refugees for 40 years, but instead of discouraging terrorism and terror, they are being given militant hideouts and advanced weaponry. The minister also mentioned that Pakistan has made it clear to the Afghan Taliban that it is against all forms of militancy and will respond to terrorism. He cited recent terrorist incidents and claimed that the Afghan Taliban had provided arms to the Tehreek-i-Taliban Pakistan (TTP). The recent increase in terrorist attacks in Pakistan has been attributed to the Taliban government in Afghanistan, with the caretaker Prime Minister noting a significant rise in terrorism since the Taliban came to power.
