Islamabad: Justice Tariq Mahmood Jahangiri, one of the six judges who sent a letter to the Supreme Judicial Council regarding interference, has once again stated that judges do not have freedom. Speaking at an event titled “Practice in High Court and Legal Ethics” at the District and Sessions Courts in Islamabad, Justice Tariq Mahmood Jahangiri said that judges are appointed for honor, otherwise there is no freedom here. He said that there is no freedom even in practicing law here, everything is being recorded and we are prisoners here. Justice Tariq Mahmood Jahangiri said that people pray for us to deliver justice, which is why our honor remains intact.
