Chandigarh: Indian actress and winning politician Kangana Ranaut was slapped by a female security officer at Chandigarh Airport. The incident occurred when the actress arrived at the airport to go to Delhi, after recently successful elections in Himachal Pradesh.
The security officer who slapped the actress is identified as Kalvinder Kaur, and she accused Kangana of disrespecting farmers. The airport security department has also taken notice of the incident and is investigating.
Upon arriving in Delhi, the actress posted a video message on Twitter, saying that she is safe and very concerned about the increasing terrorism in Punjab.
