26 deaths reported as lightning strikes in Punjab incidents

As a result of lightning strikes in various regions of Punjab, the number of deaths has reached 26.
According to a report released by the PDM, two people were killed in Khushab and Kamonki yesterday due to lightning strikes, while a citizen lost his life in Rojhan Tehsil today, Saturday.
According to the statement, after these three deaths, the number of citizens killed in lightning strikes in Punjab during the past few days has reached 26.
PDM stated that recent rains have partially affected 7 houses and 1 school, while 3 citizens have lost their lives and 9 have been injured due to the collapse of old buildings at various locations. In addition, crops on 7,863 acres of land have also been affected.
DGP PDM Irfan Ali Kathia instructed the Deputy Commissioners of the relevant districts to provide the best medical care to the injured by contacting them by phone, and they also received the well-being of three students of a school in Rajanpur who were injured in yesterday’s lightning strike.
DGP PDM said that financial assistance will be provided to the families of those who lost their lives in various accidents during the rain. The loss of human lives is deeply regrettable.
