Tragic Incident: 11 Laborers Lose Their Lives in North Waziristan Bomb Blast

In a heartbreaking incident, a bomb blast in North Waziristan claimed the lives of 11 innocent laborers, leaving two others injured, according to the police spokesperson.

Prior to this devastating incident, a powerful bomb blast targeted a workers’ convention of Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam Fazl (JUI-F), resulting in the death of at least 40 people and injuring 200 others.

The workers’ convention, attended by nearly 400 individuals, was taking place near the NADRA office at Shanday Morr. Law enforcement agencies swiftly surrounded the area.

Maulana Ziaullah Jan and Hamidullah, prominent leaders of JUI-F Khar Ameer, lost their lives in the blast. Tragically, a cameraman named Samiullah from a private news channel was also among the wounded.

The Caretaker KP Information Minister reported that 200 individuals were injured in the bombing. Hospitals in Bajaur and nearby areas have been put on high alert, and critically wounded victims will be transferred to Peshawar for further medical treatment.

Inspector General Frontier Corps (IG FC) Major General Noor Wali Khan has arrived in Bajaur to supervise the ongoing rescue operations.
