Karachi: Sindh Police’s Specialized Investigation Division conducted an operation near Jamsheed Road Patel Para Fatima Bai Hospital and arrested a female member of a drug trafficking gang, seizing 210 grams of ice from her possession. According to initial investigations by ASI Adeel Hussain Chandio, the arrested suspect, identified as Asia, wife of Shaheen daughter of Muhammad Sadiq, used to procure drugs from Salma, Aman, and Ayanat in Quetta and then sell them in various locations in Karachi.
Further revelations by the suspect state that Salma, Aman, and Ayanat would bring drugs from Quetta to Karachi through buses and other means of transportation, which the suspect and other gang members would then sell in the city. A case has been registered against the arrested suspect in the Sindh Police’s Anti-Narcotics Act under the Anti-Narcotics Act to initiate further investigation.
