5 workers were injured in a hand grenade attack at the PPP’s election office on Siryab Road, Asifabad, Quetta. The injured workers were identified as Ghulamullah, Nasrullah, Muhammad Javaid, Abdul Tahir, and Abidullah. PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari condemned the attack and stated that PPP workers are not afraid of such cowardly attacks. He also urged the Election Commission to take steps to ensure the security of election offices. The Election Commission took notice of the grenade attack and sought a report from the Chief Secretary and IG Balochistan.
