During the past 24 hours, a total of 1457 traffic accidents occurred in the province of Punjab, resulting in 16 fatalities and 1580 injuries. According to the spokesperson of the rescue agency ‘APPP’, as per the emergency calls received by Rescue 1122’s provincial monitoring cell, 812 drivers, 55 underage drivers, 594 passengers, and 190 pedestrians were affected in these traffic accidents. Additionally, 306 traffic accidents calls were received at the Lahore control room, with 315 affected individuals in the provincial capital, 105 in Gujranwala, and 98 in Faisalabad.
