Senior Minister of Information Sindh Sharjeel Inam Memon has said that the incident of 1971 where Pakistan was divided into two parts is also being politicized by Imran Khan. He urged the nation to open their eyes and recognize the true intentions behind such actions.
Speaking at a press conference in Karachi, he highlighted the significance of the day as Pakistan successfully conducted nuclear tests to showcase its atomic power to the world. He paid tribute to the founding father of Pakistan’s atomic technology, Shaheed Zulfikar Ali Bhutto, who provided the country with this capability but later his entire family paid the price for it.
He criticized the manipulation of a person giving interviews and tweeting from jail, trying to create political parties and spread false narratives. He emphasized that Imran Khan’s fight is not with any political party or institution, but with Pakistan itself, as he is trying to damage the country.
Memon warned against the distortion of facts related to the silence in Dhaka and the loss of innocent lives, pointing out that various individuals are being held responsible for selling false stories and misleading the youth with edited videos.
He called out Imran Khan for his ungrateful attitude and urged the nation to recognize individuals like him. He highlighted Imran Khan’s attempt to manipulate the military, praying with them when in power and speaking against them once out of power.
