Pakistan’s Chief Selector Waqar Younis has announced the 18-member squad for the upcoming Test series against Australia. The series is scheduled to take place from December 14th to January 7th, with three matches to be played in total. The squad includes new additions Saif Yousuf and Khurram Shahzad, as well as the return of Fawad Alam, Mohammad Waseem Junior, and Faheem Ashraf. The squad has been carefully selected to adapt to the challenging conditions in Australia, with a focus on strengthening the batting lineup and preparing a strong bowling combination. The team will undergo a training camp in Rawalpindi from November 23rd to 28th before departing for Lahore on November 30th. In addition to the 18-member squad, several extra players have been invited to the training camp, including Arshad Iqbal, Kashif Ali, Shadab Khan, Shaheen Shah Afridi, Mohammad Nawaz, Osman Qadir, and Usama Mir.
