Lahore: efforts are being made to bring back Muhammad Amir to the team. In 2020, Muhammad Amir had announced his retirement from international cricket, accusing head coach Misbah-ul-Haq and bowling coach Waqar Younis of injustice, but he continued to participate in leagues.
Speaking to the media in recent days, Amir had said that he had moved ahead in life, that there were other engagements, that a break in international cricket is very long, that changes occur every month in Pakistan’s system, and that there would be no unscientific decision on the come back. Amir’s answer to a question on social media sent a positive signal regarding Amir’s return, saying that he would talk to Muhammad Amir about his availability in the Pakistan team for the come back. We both appeared together in action for 5 years. Our participation was excellent.
Remember that prior to announcing his retirement, Muhammad Amir played 36 Tests, 61 One-Days, and 50 Twenty20 matches for Pakistan.
