The Lahore police saved a newlywed couple from a great ordeal by recovering Rs. 200,000 in cash, 2 gold coins, and the bride’s valuable dress.
According to details, the taxi driver dropped off the groom and bride at their home but left behind the cash, gold coins, and bride’s dress in the car.
SP Cantt Osvis Shafiq formed a special team to immediately trace the driver and the car. Within a few hours, SHO Mustafaabad along with the police team traced the car and driver.
SP Cantt said that the grateful citizen thanked the police for returning the Rs. 200,000, 2 gold coins, and the bride’s valuable dress and offered numerous prayers. The police are always present to protect the lives and property of the people.
