He warned that players who choose to prioritize the IPL over domestic cricket may face serious consequences, as seen in the recent absence of Shreyas Iyer and Ishan Kishan from the Ranji Trophy’s final round. Last week, Jay Shah informed the players of his concerns in a letter, stating that it was observed that players were prioritizing the IPL over domestic cricket.
