Karachi: Another young child lost his life due to an open gutter in Shah Latif Town. Four-year-old Mohsin, son of Muhammad Mustafa, was playing outside his house in Sector 22 B when he fell into the gutter. Residents immediately took him out and rushed him to a nearby hospital.
After examination, doctors confirmed his death and the body was handed over to the family without any further action taken. The relatives of the deceased expressed strong criticism against the authorities, blaming them for their criminal negligence which deprived their child of his life.
On the other hand, open gutters can be seen in various locations in the area, and the effort to cover them is not being made which led to this tragic incident.
