Islamabad: Jordan’s football team has reached Pakistan after 18 years for the qualifiers for the FIFA World Cup 2026.
The team arrived in Islamabad from Muscat, where Jordan’s ambassador, Dr. Mai Khreisat, welcomed them. Other embassy members and PFF officials were also present on this occasion.
Jordan’s football team will play on Pakistani soil after 18 years, as they previously visited Pakistan in 2006. The team was safely escorted from the airport to the hotel amidst tight security.
The match between Pakistan and Jordan is scheduled for March 21st, with the match taking place at the Jinnah Football Stadium in Islamabad at 2 pm.
