In a talk show on Express News, Senator Faisal Vawda said that any kind of vile campaign against someone is unacceptable. He mentioned that when you tear down someone’s ancestral property, the judge has to think that in 1950, there used to be a big cricket ground in that place which is now Karachi, this property has been destroyed and ruined, they were brought to the streets, now they can’t afford the current market value of land, will we auction off their properties and compensate them? Then there is a system of punishment and reward.
Senator Faisal Vawda further said that those in authority, whether MNAs, MPAs or Senators, say that you have taken an oath of dual citizenship and the judges making decisions are also dual citizens, what kind of a law is this, where alcohol is permissible for you and forbidden for me, based on their position, there are so many historical judges present who are very good people, they should come forward and say that if this is being applied, it should be applied to us as well under the guise of notes.
He stated that the controversies keep going on throughout the entire day, the way to bury a vile campaign is to clear yourself internally, this is how I gave it editorially, if I gave it then why wait, if not then you are both in trouble.
Senator Faisal Vawda emphasized that until the justice system is fixed, Pakistan cannot be fixed. He mentioned that the Supreme Court has ordered a stay on the price of bread in Punjab, it should take action and finish it because until there is a decision, the bread will remain cheap, a poor person can get two loaves for the price of one, no one is interested in this, if an ordinary person is getting bread for 16 rupees instead of 25 rupees, then his child is getting enough to eat.
He also talked about the dictators who were given the death penalty as a symbolic punishment in this country, a great democratic leader like Bhutto was publicly hanged, a judge had his pension reduced after making a wrong decision, his house was taken back, he was put in jail, and he was given the death penalty.
