During a security forces operation in the district of Kech in Balochistan, 3 terrorists were killed, while in the exchange of fire, 5 soldiers were martyred. According to a statement issued by the ISPR on January 13, during a security forces operation in the area of Buleda in the district of Kech, terrorists attacked a security forces vehicle with a locally made explosive device. The statement said that after the explosion, there was a fierce exchange of fire with the terrorists and the security forces targeted the terrorists’ hideouts effectively, as a result of which 3 terrorists were sent to hell. The ISPR reported that during the operation, the firing of terrorists resulted in the courageous fight of 5 soldiers of the Pakistani army being martyred. The statement mentioned that the martyred soldiers include 23-year-old Sepoy Tippu Raza from Sahiwal, 24-year-old Sepoy Sunny Shaukat from Karachi, 23-year-old Sepoy Shafiullah from Lassbela district, and 25-year-old Lance Naik Tariq Ali and 25-year-old Sepoy Muhammad Tariq Khan from Khanzai. The ISPR reported that security forces are continuing operations to eliminate the presence of other terrorists in the area, and Pakistan’s armed forces are determined to thwart attempts to sabotage the peace, stability, and development of Balochistan by joining hands with the nation. The statement from the ISPR said that the sacrifices of our brave youth make our determination even stronger.
