According to the Meteorological Department, there is a possibility of light to moderate rain in Karachi on the evening of Monday, January 29 or the morning of Tuesday, January 30. The rain is expected as a result of the western system entering Pakistan. Part of the system will pass over the coastal belt of Sindh, while another part will bring rain to the northern parts of the country. Two consecutive western systems are currently entering the country. In addition to the current system, a new one will enter Balochistan on February 2, and the new western system in February will have effects in the form of rain over central and upper Sindh. The Meteorological Department says that there is currently no possibility of rain in Karachi under the system entering next month.
