Peshawar: Chief Minister of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Ali Amin Gandapur, has made it clear that members of opposition parties who have become members of assembly will not be allowed to take oaths of women and minority members of our seats, and resistance will be continued to the extent possible in this regard.
Addressing a press conference after the party’s parliamentary session in Peshawar on Tuesday night, the Chief Minister said that the Election Commission once broke the constitution and postponed Senate elections. Democratic parties shed blood on our seats, but they will not be allowed to take oaths on specific seats. When the President and Prime Minister can be elected, why not the senators? Elections were postponed for them.
He said that agreements have been made in our parliamentary party which will also be accepted by the provincial assembly. Under a conspiracy, Imran Khan has been arrested and trials are being conducted. May 9 and the real facts about Imran’s government be brought to light because according to Imran Khan, all of this is part of the London Plan. Our leaders and workers are being targeted with illegal notices. It should be seen who benefited from this May 9, the nation is not foolish, we will bring everything to light.
Ali Amin Gandapur said that the original facts of the notices filed should be brought to light, it is shameful. Videos should be presented showing who opened their gates and who set them on fire.
He said the LLRC case in the Islamabad High Court is old, a full court should be formed on this. The judges are saying that they made decisions under pressure. An accountability judge goes to the hospital three times to check his blood pressure, which indicates the severity of the conditions.
Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa said that when the Commissioner of Rawalpindi speaks, he is called a mental patient, but we want to make it clear that we will not accept slavery. He said that the worst rigging took place in the February 8 elections, from Form 45 to Form 49 rigging took place. Based on numbers, I claim that the People’s Party won 13 NA seats and Muslim League in Punjab won 25 and 17 NA seats, while all other seats were won by PTI because the nation gave a mandate to Imran Khan and his party, so our demand is that a decision be made soon on this rigging and all our colleagues be released.
Ali Amin Gandapur said that we will not allow new members in any way to take oaths who have come to our seats because these seats do not belong to them.
He said that a committee has been formed against the PTI workers in FIRs in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, which is wrong, will be ended. Our governance is good, health cards have been started, and the Ramadan package has been given with respect. No one had to wait in line, no one’s dignity was hurt, and all the poor were given their rights. Food items will be provided at government rates, IGs and Chief Secretaries were given to other provinces and not to us because I am the Chief Minister from Form 45, I will take my team with me and my rights will not beg, I will not negotiate.
He said that the center should also give our remaining budget of 1510 billion and we will also increase electricity rates because it cannot be that we buy cheap electricity and it is sold at higher prices to us. We will solve problems and show with our means, taking money from IMF and governing comfortably will not work.
He said that when he had a meeting with Imran Khan, he was happy so that I could get the rights of the province, Shehbaz Sharif is the PM of Form 47, but he is the Prime Minister so I will ask for my rights from him, we will fight according to Imran Khan’s promise.
The Chief Minister clarified that we are not declaring war against the establishment, they are our institutions, we are with them, the Election Commission plays the biggest role in electoral rigging and action should be taken against those who go against them.
He said that we will not protest, but fake people who have come to our seats will protest. Meanwhile, the Speaker has also started an inquiry on how unelected individuals entered the assembly because without a oath, they are neither members nor can they enter the house.
