Islamabad: Prime Minister Imran Khan of Pakistan arrived in Abu Dhabi for a two-day visit to the United Arab Emirates. He was received by UAE Minister of Justice Abdullah Sultan Al Nuaimi and Pakistani embassy officials at the Abu Dhabi International Airport.
According to the Foreign Office spokesperson, Prime Minister Imran Khan will meet with UAE President Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed. The meeting will provide an opportunity to further enhance relations in the areas of politics, economics, trade, investment, culture, and defense.
During the visit, agreements on energy, port operations projects, wastewater treatment, food security, logistics, mining, aviation, and investment in banking and financial services will also be signed.
According to the Foreign Office spokesperson, Pakistan and the United Arab Emirates have been successful in navigating through multiple trials of time in their longstanding relationship.
