The City Traffic Officer Lahore has directed not to issue tickets to any citizen until February 8 in view of the general elections. According to details, City Traffic Police Officer Amara Athar has issued instructions not to issue tickets on anyone’s identification card until February 8 to provide relief to the citizens who are casting their votes. She said that no ticket will be issued on anyone’s identification card until February 8, and citizens can obtain their identification cards from the relevant traffic sector by paying the fine from 7 am to 11 pm. Amara Athar said that in case of a ticket, citizens can collect their registration book and license as security, and through the digital ticketing system, they can collect their documents by immediately paying the ticket. She made it clear that action will continue to be taken against violations of traffic laws in accordance with the usual practice. The City Officer further stated that if tickets are not collected within 10 days, the documents are submitted to the district court, after which the citizen completes the legal proceedings by collecting the documents.
