The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has prepared a list to obtain approval from the Prime Minister for projects and decisions. According to details, the government had instructed the PCB to seek approval from the Prime Minister for important decisions, including the sale of media rights, as well as other tenders, to prevent any disruption. Doubts have been raised about some decisions made by the Management Committee, before restrictions were lifted, and all directors of the Board were asked to inform their projects so that their approval could be obtained. The PCB has compiled a list of all its current and future important projects, which can be sent on Thursday. It has been said regarding the Pakistan Super League (PSL) that the event is approaching. Therefore, media rights should be sold as soon as possible to generate appropriate revenue. Approval has been sought for the T10 League and previous exhibition matches as well. Other major and general projects are also included in the list. It has been reported that the Board wants to enter into an agreement with team director Muhammad Hafeez for 2 to 3 years. Similarly, Wahab Riaz will be asked to make the position of Chief Selector permanent. While details of other major decisions have been written, smaller level decisions were left to be dealt with in everyday affairs. The details of all projects, along with the budget, have been written, and officials’ salaries have also been mentioned. The projects on which the Prime Minister has given approval will proceed with their further work, while others will be halted. If any decision is opposed, it will also be considered for termination. A benefit of this practice will be that if there are any changes within the Board, the new officials will also be bound to maintain the approved projects and decisions.
