Islamabad: After a long wait, cricket enthusiasts’ anticipation has come to an end as the schedule for the Kashmir Supreme League has been announced in Azad Kashmir.
National players will shine in the cricket league running from September 18 to 30, with 19 exciting matches under the banner of the League For Peace held until September 30 at the Muzaffarabad Cricket Stadium and Rawalpindi.
The tournament, under the banner of “League For Peace,” will run until September 30, 2024, featuring 19 thrilling matches in Rawalpindi and Muzaffarabad. The ASL will kick off in Rawalpindi with an interesting opening ceremony where a total of 15 matches will be played. The league’s 4 matches will be held in Muzaffarabad, where a spectacular closing ceremony will also be held.
The tournament will feature six dynamic teams including Muzaffarabad Falcons, Rawalakot United, Kotli Kings, Bagh Royals, Mirpur Stallions, and Overseas Patriots.
The ASL spokesperson stated that the purpose of the Kashmir Supreme League, which attracts overseas patriotic Kashmiri players, is to promote peace and harmony through the united force of cricket, showcase players’ abilities, and provide a platform for fans to come together in support of their teams.
