Karachi: To express solidarity with the oppressed Kashmiris suffering from Indian atrocities in occupied Kashmir, a nationwide Kashmir Solidarity Day will be celebrated on Friday with great enthusiasm. There will be a public holiday all over the country on this occasion, while various political and religious groups will organize special seminars, conferences, and rallies in which prominent figures from all schools of thought will participate.
In Lahore, under the banner of Jamaat-e-Islami, a Kashmir and Palestine march will be held from the State Bank to the Assembly Hall, where the leader of Jamaat-e-Islami Pakistan, Siraj ul Haq, will address the participants.
Prime Minister Imran Khan’s Special Assistant on Information Firdous Ashiq Awan said in his message on Kashmir Solidarity Day that a lasting solution to the issue of Jammu and Kashmir is only possible in accordance with the United Nations resolutions and the aspirations of the Kashmiris.
He said Pakistan will continue its complete moral, diplomatic, and political support for its Kashmiri brothers and sisters. On this day, we pay tribute to the sacrifices of our Kashmiri brothers and sisters in the past 76 years.
